The Riu Guanacaste has been recently built in a seafront location on Mata Palo Beach. This fully equipped hotel offers guests the best service in addition to a fresh water swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gym, sauna and the “Renova Spa” centre with a range of different treatments and massages. Everything you could need to guarantee the maximum well-being during your stay. It features four restaurants, including an International buffet and a Grill Steakhouse. Five bars serve an unlimited selection of domestic drinks and select international drinks. Each room also features it’s very own liquor dispenser and mini-bar. This resort is perfect for families! Two-Bedroom Family Suites accommodate up to five people and boast two bathrooms. Kids will have a blast at the playground and RiuLand Mini club for ages 4-12.     Hotel Advisories

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: Costa Rica will impose some restrictions for Holy Week. Alcohol is not permitted to be sold or consumed. This ban on alcohol starts the Thursday prior to Easter and runs through Easter Sunday. A few hotels purchase special permits to serve alcohol, but generally it is not available. In addition, most restaurants, shops and bars will be closed for the same time period. Restaurants in the hotels will be operating. The city tour will not be operating.

  • MINIMUM AGE CONDITION: At least one person 21 years or older is required in every room during March and April. The hotel reserves the right of admission and may request guests show passport of official ID to prove age. During the remainder of the year, at least one person 18 or older is required in every room. Guests can and will be removed from the property at their own expense in case of any disturbance or complaint from other guests or hotel staff.

  • Parties in rooms are not allowed. Spring-break groups or unruly behavior is not allowed all year round at any property.

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR GUESTS: As of April 2012, the destination of Costa Rica has gone non-smoking in all public buildings and areas. All hotel rooms are also non-smoking.
