How much money do I bring on board? Most cruise lines will allow you to charge most of your purchases to an onboard account. The application will be with your cruise documents and will need to be filled out. Present your major credit card and you are then free to sign your stateroom number for all shipboard charges and shore excursions. If you bring travelers checks, they can be cashed onboard at the Percer’s office. You will mostly only need cash while you are in port. Most shops, however, also take major credit cards.
